Surah 37 As-Saaffaat — Ayat 71
71
وَلَقَدْ ضَلَّ قَبْلَهُمْ أَكْثَرُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
Dan demi sesungguhnya, telah sesat juga - sebelum kaummu (wahai Muhammad) - kebanyakan kaum-kaum yang telah lalu.
walaqad ḍalla qablahum aktharu l-awalīna
Perkataan demi perkataan
- وَلَقَدْ walaqad And verily
- ضَلَّ ḍalla went astray
- قَبْلَهُمْ qablahum before them
- أَكْثَرُ aktharu most
- ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ l-awalīna (of) the former (people)
Tafsir · Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
فَانظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَـقِبَةُ الْمُنذَرِينَ إِلاَّ عِبَادَ اللَّهِ الْمُخْلَصِينَ
(Then see what was the end of those who were warned. Except the chosen servants of Allah).
