اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ
Allahumma anta Rabbi la ilaha illa anta, khalaqtani wa ana abduka, wa ana ala ahdika wa wa’dika mastata’tu
O Allah, You are my Lord, there is no god but You. You created me and I am Your servant, and I abide by Your covenant and promise as best as I can.
Sahih al-Bukhari 6306اللَّهُمَّ بِكَ أَصْبَحْنَا، وَبِكَ أَمْسَيْنَا، وَبِكَ نَحْيَا، وَبِكَ نَمُوتُ، وَإِلَيْكَ النُّشُورُ
Allahumma bika asbahna, wa bika amsayna, wa bika nahya, wa bika namutu, wa ilaykan-nushur
O Allah, by You we enter the morning and by You we enter the evening; by You we live and by You we die, and to You is the final return.
Sunan at-Tirmidhi 3391بِسْمِ اللَّهِ

Sunan Abi Dawud 3767الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَطْعَمَنَا وَسَقَانَا وَجَعَلَنَا مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ
Alhamdulillahilladhi at’amana wa saqana wa ja’alana minal-muslimin
All praise is for Allah who fed us, gave us drink, and made us among the Muslims.
Sunan Abi Dawud 3850بِاسْمِكَ اللَّهُمَّ أَمُوتُ وَأَحْيَا
Bismika Allahumma amutu wa ahya
In Your name, O Allah, I die and I live.
Sahih al-Bukhari 6324الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ
Alhamdulillahilladhi ahyana ba’da ma amatana wa ilayhin-nushur
All praise is for Allah who gave us life after He had caused us to die, and to Him is the return.
Sahih al-Bukhari 6312اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْخُبُثِ وَالْخَبَائِثِ
Allahumma inni a’udhu bika minal-khubuthi wal-khaba’ith
O Allah, I seek refuge with You from male and female devils.
Sahih al-Bukhari 142غُفْرَانَكَ
Ghufranak
I seek Your forgiveness.
Sunan Abi Dawud 30سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُ مُقْرِنِينَ، وَإِنَّا إِلَى رَبِّنَا لَمُنْقَلِبُونَ
Subhanalladhi sakhkhara lana hadha wa ma kunna lahu muqrinin, wa inna ila Rabbina lamunqalibun
Glory be to Him who has subjected this to us, though we could never have subdued it; and indeed to our Lord we shall return.
Quran 43:13-14; Sahih Muslim 1342اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ، وَالْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ
Allahumma inni a’udhu bika minal-hammi wal-hazan, wal-’ajzi wal-kasal
O Allah, I seek refuge with You from anxiety and sorrow, from weakness and laziness.
Sahih al-Bukhari 6369اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْهُدَى وَالتُّقَى وَالْعَفَافَ وَالْغِنَى
Allahumma inni as’aluka al-huda wat-tuqa wal-’afafa wal-ghina
O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity and contentment.
Sahih Muslim 2721رَبِّ ارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرًا
Rabbir-hamhuma kama rabbayani saghira
My Lord, have mercy upon them as they brought me up when I was small.
Quran 17:24رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanatan wa fil-akhirati hasanatan wa qina ’adhaban-nar
Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
Quran 2:201اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ
Ihdinas-siratal-mustaqim
Guide us to the straight path.
