Surah 22 Al-Hajj — Ayat 14
إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُدْخِلُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ جَنَّٰتٍۢ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَفْعَلُ مَا يُرِيدُ
Sesungguhnya Allah memasukkan orang-orang yang beriman dan mengerjakan amal yang saleh ke dalam surga-surga yang di bawahnya mengalir sungai-sungai. Sesungguhnya Allah berbuat apa yang Dia kehendaki.
inna l-laha yud'khilu alladhīna āmanū waʿamilū l-ṣāliḥāti jannātin tajrī min taḥtihā l-anhāru inna l-laha yafʿalu mā yurīdu
Kata demi kata
- إِنَّ inna Indeed
- ٱللَّهَ l-laha Allah
- يُدْخِلُ yud'khilu will admit
- ٱلَّذِينَ alladhīna those who
- ءَامَنُوا۟ āmanū believe
- وَعَمِلُوا۟ waʿamilū and do
- ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ l-ṣāliḥāti the righteous deeds
- جَنَّـٰتٍۢ jannātin (to) Gardens
- تَجْرِى tajrī flow
- مِن min from
- تَحْتِهَا taḥtihā underneath it
- ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ ۚ l-anhāru the rivers
- إِنَّ inna Indeed
- ٱللَّهَ l-laha Allah
- يَفْعَلُ yafʿalu does
- مَا mā what
- يُرِيدُ yurīdu He intends

The Reward of the Righteous
The mention of the misguided who are doomed is followed by mention of the righteous who are blessed. They are those who believe firmly in their hearts and confirm their faith by their actions, doing all kinds of righteous deeds and avoiding evil actions. Because of this, they will inherit dwellings in the lofty ranks of the gardens of Paradise. So Allah tells us that He sends those astray and guides these, and says:
(Verily, Allah does what He wills.)
