Surah 22 Al-Hajj — Ayat 17
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَٱلَّذِينَ هَادُوا۟ وَٱلصَّٰبِـِٔينَ وَٱلنَّصَٰرَىٰ وَٱلْمَجُوسَ وَٱلَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوٓا۟ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَفْصِلُ بَيْنَهُمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ شَهِيدٌ
Bahawasanya orang-orang yang beriman, dan orang-orang Yahudi, dan orang-orang Saabiein, dan orang-orang Nasrani, dan orang-orang Majusi, serta orang-orang Musyrik, sesungguhnya Allah akan memutuskan hukumNya di antara mereka pada hari kiamat, kerana sesungguhnya Allah sentiasa Memerhati dan Menyaksikan tiap-tiap sesuatu.
inna alladhīna āmanū wa-alladhīna hādū wal-ṣābiīna wal-naṣārā wal-majūsa wa-alladhīna ashrakū inna l-laha yafṣilu baynahum yawma l-qiyāmati inna l-laha ʿalā kulli shayin shahīdun
Perkataan demi perkataan
- إِنَّ inna Indeed
- ٱلَّذِينَ alladhīna those who
- ءَامَنُوا۟ āmanū have believed
- وَٱلَّذِينَ wa-alladhīna and those who
- هَادُوا۟ hādū were Jews
- وَٱلصَّـٰبِـِٔينَ wal-ṣābiīna and the Sabians
- وَٱلنَّصَـٰرَىٰ wal-naṣārā and the Christians
- وَٱلْمَجُوسَ wal-majūsa and the Magians
- وَٱلَّذِينَ wa-alladhīna and those who
- أَشْرَكُوٓا۟ ashrakū (are) polytheists
- إِنَّ inna indeed
- ٱللَّهَ l-laha Allah
- يَفْصِلُ yafṣilu will judge
- بَيْنَهُمْ baynahum between them
- يَوْمَ yawma (on) the Day
- ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ ۚ l-qiyāmati (of) the Resurrection
- إِنَّ inna Indeed
- ٱللَّهَ l-laha Allah
- عَلَىٰ ʿalā over
- كُلِّ kulli every
- شَىْءٍۢ shayin thing
- شَهِيدٌ shahīdun (is) a Witness
Tafsir · Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
Allah will judge between the Sects on the Day of Resurrection
Allah tells us about the followers of these various religions, the believers (Muslims) and others such as the Jews and Sabians. We have already seen a definition of them in Surat Al-Baqarah and have noted how people differ over who they are. There are also the Christians, Majus and others who worship others alongside Allah. Allah will
(judge between them on the Day of Resurrection) with justice; He will admit those who believed in Him to Paradise and will send those who disbelieved in Him to Hell, for He is a Witness over their deeds, and He knows all that they say and all that they do in secret, and conceal in their breast.
