Surah 17 Al-Israa — Ayat 41
وَلَقَدْ صَرَّفْنَا فِى هَٰذَا ٱلْقُرْءَانِ لِيَذَّكَّرُوا۟ وَمَا يَزِيدُهُمْ إِلَّا نُفُورًۭا
Dan sesungguhnya Kami telah menerangkan jalan-jalan menetapkan iktiqad dan tauhid dengan berbagai cara di dalam Al-Quran ini supaya mereka beringat (memahami dan mematuhi kebenaran); dalam pada itu, penerangan yang berbagai cara itu tidak menjadikan mereka melainkan bertambah liar.
walaqad ṣarrafnā fī hādhā l-qur'āni liyadhakkarū wamā yazīduhum illā nufūran
Perkataan demi perkataan
- وَلَقَدْ walaqad And verily
- صَرَّفْنَا ṣarrafnā We have explained
- فِى fī in
- هَـٰذَا hādhā this
- ٱلْقُرْءَانِ l-qur'āni the Quran
- لِيَذَّكَّرُوا۟ liyadhakkarū that they may take heed
- وَمَا wamā but not
- يَزِيدُهُمْ yazīduhum it increases them
- إِلَّا illā except
- نُفُورًۭا nufūran (in) aversion
Tafsir · Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
(And surely, We have explained in this Qur'an) meaning, `We have explained Our warni- ngs so that they may remember the proof, evidence and exhorta- tions contained there- in, and be prevented from Shirk, wrong- doing and scandal.'
(but it increases them in naught) the wrong- doers among them
(save aversion.) aversion towards the truth; they go further away from it.
